Frickley Country Park

Access to the Country Park for disabled people:

The Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation (RADAR) is the administrator for the National Key Scheme (NKS).

The NKS offers independent access to disabled people to around 7,000 locked public toilets around the country.  These keys can also now be used to unlock the "kissing gates" at Frickley Country Park to allow access to mobility scooters, wheelchairs, pushchairs, tandem bicycles with trailers.

RADAR makes no profit in supplying keys but needs to make a small charge over time, please contact the organisation directly.  Keys can be purchased from RADAR through their shop at http://disabilityrightsuk.org

They can also be contacted on 020 7250 3222 or by minicom on 020 7250 4119

RADAR keys are also available from DIAL (Disability Information Advice Line), Wakefield based in Castleford.

DIAL sells radar keys for £2.50 if you collect one and £3.00 if you want to send a cheque or postal order to

DIAL Wakefield, Highfield House, Love Lane, Castleford, WF10 5RT, Telephone 01977 723933 or Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
